Head of Accounting & Revenue Cycle Control

OIKOS S.A., a dynamically growing company in the furniture, imports and project-based solutions sector (retail, wholesale, custom manufacturing & projects), is seeking a Head of Accounting with a strong hands-on accounting role and full control responsibility over the revenue cycle.

This position goes beyond supervisory review. It requires direct execution, accountability and control of accounting, financial flows and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Tax Responsibilities (Hands-On Role)

• Full and active management of the accounting function
• Maintenance of accounting books in accordance with local regulations
• Direct posting and control of supplier invoices (domestic & international)
• Accounting handling of imports, including:
• booking of import-related documents
• monitoring customs documentation
• accurate cost allocation of imported goods
• Management of VAT and tax-related obligations
• Bank account monitoring and reconciliations
• Monitoring, reconciliation and settlement of supplier balances
• Organization, monitoring and control of customer balances
• Management of advances, credit notes, offsets and open balances
• Ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness of records in the ERP system
• Cooperation with external accountants, tax advisors, customs agents and freight forwarders

Revenue Cycle & Operational Control

• End-to-end control of the revenue cycle:
• offers → orders → invoicing → collections
• Cross-checking invoicing against deliveries, contracts and agreed commercial terms
• Monitoring discounts, credit notes and deviations
• Ensuring that everything sold is correctly invoiced and collected
• Identification of discrepancies, risks and process gaps
• Preparation of financial and control reports for management

Cross-Department Collaboration

• Close collaboration with:
• Sales
• Operations / Logistics
• Warehouse
• Management
• Contribution to process optimization and internal control frameworks

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• Proven experience in a senior accounting role
• Strong knowledge of import accounting and cost allocation
• Solid understanding of revenue cycle control
• Experience with ERP systems (SoftOne knowledge is a plus)
• High level of accuracy, organization and attention to detail
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability and transparency
